weekend in review

so thursday i went to j's baseball game alone (the g-parents were there) and was able to watch the entire game with focus. so great! j really digs baseball and he is really good. so proud of him and so happy to watch him do something he loves.by the time i got home from the game the migraine i knew was brewing since early afternoon came on and i knew i would need friday to recover. after meds and some extra sleep, i felt somewhat human again. by that night i felt good enough to join jules in her rain dance so that all games would be cancelled and both of our saturdays would not drive us to narcotic use.

the rain dance worked and my only child-centered responsibility was getting my girl ready for dance pictures. and all i remember from that morning is she. is. gorgeous. i literally could not stop looking at her while we were in the car. we are soooooooooo in trouble.
later that day the kids went to nana and poppy's and we hosted the monthly bell class of '92 dinner. we ate, we laughed, we busted out rock band...and now dan has declared he was born to play rock band. even though my 8 year old can play drums with his feet better than dan. hey...good luck in your cheerleading.
our obscure guests for the month were my awesome neighbors monica (jules) and shana. i am seriously so blessed by wonderful neighbors. love my girls!
