In a few weeks, this little girl will turn six. Her front tooth is loose. I know that she HAS to stop sucking her thumb. We can't afford the dental work if she doesn't. But in order to do that, we have to lose the blanket. And I can't bring myself to lay down the law. I absolutely love the way she finds the tag she wants and either rubs it under her nose or between her first two fingers while she sucks her thumb. She has done this since she was a baby. And I'm not ready for my girl to get any bigger.

I reintroduced Allie to pacifiers this week when she saw them in the store and wanted them.
She hasn't used one in over a year.
But she's just too darn cute with it, and they're only our babies once . . .
