***right after i posted this jake came in and had curled his eyelashes with my curler. he thought it was hilarious, but then he wanted them back to normal. he said something about cutting them so i told him to promise me that he would never do such a thing. i told him his lashes are beautiful just like his daddies. then i said "someday when it's time for you to have a girlfriend i bet your beautiful eyes will be one thing she loves about you." he then said "i hope she's as beautiful as you are mama". i'm still holding back the tears.
