I use this blog mostly to record funny things my kids say or special moments and occasions in our lives because I most definitely will forget them if I don't. I know some people pour their soul out for all the web to see, and I am usually more of the open-book-tell-anybody-anything type but not here - when it is very personal. But I have a small request of the 5 of you who visit here. I would greatly appreciate you adding me/Andy/us/our family to your prayer list. I am personally working through some stuff right now that I feel completely overwhelmed and helpless with. Andy also needs prayers for some things with him. And the combination of these things together led me to my request for prayers for us together and for our family. I just ask that you join us in praying for patience, strength, continued faith, and mostly allowing God to be in control (this is more for me). Thanks...

I hate to hear when my friends are going through tough situations. I will definately be praying for you and Andy. God is good, sovereign and in control even when your moment/life/situation seems out of control. Lean on The One who created you in the most perfect way and PREPARED you for such a time as this!
Lisa, you know that I pray for you, Andy, Jake, Abby and Hudson every day. Remember to "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and HE will direct your path." God loves you and so do I.
Hi Lisa. I know we don't talk very much about whats going on on either side of our worlds but I do pray for you guys everyday! Whatever it is will pass and the sun will be brighter tomorrow!
When I start to panic cuz nothings going my way I say DONT PANIC! Roll your works upon the Lord. Commit and trust them wholly to Him. He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to his Will and so shall your plans be established and succeed.
This helps me everyday....I hope you find some strength and encouragement from it as well.
