these are a few of my favorite things...

When I was a Chi O at A&M, we would put together a book in the fall to help everyone get to know everyone else a little bit better. We had to create a page about ourself and we would list things that we loved or our favorites. I came across mine the other day when I was looking through some files and I realized that some of the things I loved then I don't even think about now, and some of them are still at the top of my list. So I thought I would at a list to my blog every once in a while of my favorite things (at the moment). Here are the first 10 I thought of:

• naps!!! (Absence makes the heart grow fonder!)
• hearing my kids laugh
• the way Abby says yellow (lellow) and the way Hudson answers no when you ask him if he wants to go to bed.
• sitting with Andy on the couch in the evenings
• my faux bunko group and our girls' weekends
• the frio!!! (adios, amigo!)
• margaritas
• my team
• massages
• hearing Jake pray

a day in the life

Jake has been riding his bike without training wheels for almost 3 months now, but we are still working on riding too close to people/objects because our skill level is not quite there yet...

Hudson ADORES Abby. He follows her wherever she goes, and for now at least, she loves for him to. Whenever she rides in her jeep he wants to be riding right beside her.

Last, but not least, we are so thankful that Poppy's visit to the ER in the middle of the night turned out to be nothing.

WAAAaaaaaaa!!!!!

Spring Break is officially over.

So far...

We weren't home from school on Friday 15 minutes when I walked into the living room and found this:

And I have to admit, I was jealous...it was EXACTLY what I wanted to be doing!

On Sunday we went to Cade Coburn's 4th birthday party and the kids ad a blast! Hudson sooooo wants to be a big kid. And I soooooo don't want him to. At 19 months Jake would have FREAKED OUT if he was within 50 feet of a bounce house. Hudson got mad if we tried to help him up the tallest slide in the place. I am currently accepting donations for our future ER visits.

We all had a great time...Happy Birthday Cade!

Spring Break WOO HOO!!!

To celebrate the start of my week off...wait, my week away from school but not "off"...here are a few pictures of the kids I'm happy to spend my day with!

Several weeks ago, Abby did a faceplant at daycare on the concrete gym floor. We are still crossing our fingers that her tooth will go back to being white...but how cute is she??!!
